Rod Couts, Enrolled Agent

Enrolled Agent. He is also a nationally known automobile
leasing expert, and was recognized by Federal Reserve Board
chairman Alan Greenspan for his contributions to the Board's
Leasing Education Program team. The team developed the
Board's web site content and print materials for educating
consumers about automobile leasing.
An accomplished speaker and writer, Rod has appeared on
numerous television and radio programs, including CNN's
Lou Dobbs Moneyline, Fox on Consumers and Motorweek.
His articles on leasing have appeared in the Los Angeles
Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Working Mother and Forbes.
Rod first began preparing taxes in 1987 after completing the
H&R Block Income Tax School. In March 2005, he was
admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service as an
Enrolled Agent after passing the highly rigorous enrolled
agent exam in September 2004. Enrolled Agents are among a
limited group of professionals that are allowed to represent
taxpayers before the IRS on a nationwide basis.
A native of Ohio, Rod received his Bachelor of Science in
Business in 1982 from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio,
having majored in accounting. He is also a former Certified
